YOU ARE NOT ALONE

A difficult credit history does not have to mean no mortgage.

๐Ÿ“‹

Missed payments or defaults

Life happens. A missed payment or default does not automatically rule out a mortgage. Many specialist lenders consider your full picture - not just your credit score.

โš–๏ธ

CCJs or debt management

A County Court Judgement or past debt management plan can make getting a mortgage feel impossible. We know which lenders consider these cases and how to present your application in the best light.

๐Ÿšช

Turned down elsewhere

Being rejected by your bank or another broker is not the end of the road. We access lenders that high street banks do not offer - and we have helped many clients who were told no elsewhere.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know.

Can I get a mortgage with bad credit?

In many cases yes - but it depends on your specific situation. The type of adverse credit, how recent it is and the amount involved all affect your options. The best first step is always an honest conversation so we can assess what is realistically possible for you.

I have been turned down by my bank - can you still help?

Often yes. High street banks have strict automated criteria that reject many applications that specialist lenders would consider. As a whole of market broker we access lenders that your bank simply does not offer - and we know how to present your application in the best possible light.

How much does it cost?

Our fee for adverse credit cases is ยฃ699 - only due on mortgage offer, never upfront. Your initial review is completely free with no obligation to proceed.

Will applying affect my credit score?

A full mortgage application does leave a mark on your credit file. However we carry out a soft search assessment first, which does not affect your score - to understand your options before making any formal application.

How long does the process take?

Adverse credit applications can take slightly longer than standard cases - typically 4 to 6 weeks from application to mortgage offer. Alex will keep you updated throughout so there are never any surprises.
